Volunteer
Volunteers are an essential component of Head Start, and by donating time and energy, they make a huge contribution to the success of our program. Parents and guardians are very important volunteers, and our Head Start believes that utilizing parents/guardians as volunteers enriches the Head Start experience for all participants. We provide structured opportunities and appropriate support for all interested parents/guardians to participate in the classroom.
We highly encourage parent volunteering and strive to put parents in volunteer positions that match their interests, abilities, and time availability, as well as provide opportunities that add to their job skills and experience.
